Are you concerned about redevelopment parking traffic and noise problems in Oak Square? Are you opposed to a 9-story building on Tremont Street? If so, please come and make your voice heard at a community hearing sponsored by the Boston Redevelopment Authority:

Thursday, September 12 7:00 p.m. Oak Square YMCA

The proposed building is THREE times the number of stories presently allowed under the zoning code. Its NINETY-ONE apartments (with 181 bedrooms) would result in too much traffic and parking congestion. NO provision has been made for access by emergency vehicles in the rear or sides of the building. It would block the view of Presentation Church and negatively impact the quality of life in our community.

PLEASE come to the meeting September 12th and also write letters expressing the reasons for your opposition to:

Nick Haney, Project Manager Boston Redevelopment Authority 9th Floor; Boston City Hall Boston, MA 02201 e-mail: nick.haney.bra@ci.boston.ma.us

AND

Mayor Thomas M. Menino Boston City Hall Boston, MA 02201

A copy of the proposal is available for review at the Faneuil Branch Libary.

Thank you.
